Summary: Insight Global is looking for an Environments Reliability Engineer to manage and support end-to-end testing environments for Index Platforms, primarily focusing on QA and UAT. This role is part of a broader program aimed at achieving strategic objectives for a financial client. The position is a 6-month contract that requires on-site presence twice a week in London. Candidates should have a strong background in software development methodologies and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor end-to-end testing environments for Index Platforms.
  • Lead the design and delivery of quality automation software.
  • Utilize Bash/Python/Go for automation tasks.
  • Understand and work with databases (MS SQL, Sybase) and SQL scripting.
  • Work with AWS, Ansible, Jenkins, and Git.
  • Perform Linux and Windows administration.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in software development methodologies.
  • Proven experience in quality automation software design and delivery.
  • Substantial experience with Bash/Python/Go.
  • Understanding of databases (MS SQL, Sybase) and SQL scripting.

Detailed Description From Employer:

Insight Global is seeking an Environments Reliability Engineer who will be a responsible for the management, monitoring, tooling, tests, and support of the end-to-end testing (primarily QA and UAT, but also to QA) environments in support of the Index Platforms. The remit for this role is a part of the wider program to build in achieving strategic objectives of one of our financial clients. This will be a 6-Month (Inside IR35) contract to hire. You will be expected to go onsite 2x weekly, in the clients office in London.

Must Haves

  • Experience in software development methodologies.
  • Proven experience of leading the design and delivery of quality automation software.
  • Substantial experience in the use of Bash/Python/Go for automation.
  • Understand databases (MS SQL, Sybase) and SQL scripting.
  • Experience with AWS/Ansible/Jenkins/Git.
  • Linux and Windows administration.

Plus:

  • Experience in financial services with an understanding of financial and related market data.
