Summary: The Test Manager role involves overseeing all testing activities for a project, ensuring quality through the creation and delivery of test plans and reports. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders and leadership in managing test engineers while supporting recruitment and resource planning. This is a fixed-term contract for 9 months, with a hybrid working arrangement of 2-3 days on-site in Edinburgh or Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creation and delivery of Test Plans and Test Completion Reports
• Support Test Manager in creation of Test Risk Assessments
• Management of all test activities for a Project
• Ownership of Quality Gateways
• Contribute to resource management and capacity planning to support delivery schedule
• Support recruitment and line management of associate and senior test engineers
• Provide leadership and guidance to teams, coaching and mentoring team members to aid continuous improvement
• Lead Senior Test Engineers and Test Engineers to deliver end to end testing using automated, formal manual and exploratory approaches
• Build and maintain key relationships with other departments and stakeholders
• Management of Project defects
• Delivery of Daily Status Report during test execution
• Working proficiently in Agile and Waterfall testing delivery methodologies
• Working with Project Managers, Analysts, Developers, Solutions Architects and Test Managers to deliver tested
