Summary: The role of Test Manager involves leading testing efforts for a significant IT project within a manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to develop and implement testing strategies, ensuring high-quality deliverables. This position requires extensive experience in test management and various testing methodologies, with a focus on enterprise-level projects. The role is hybrid, requiring onsite presence in South Wales and occasional travel to Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage the project Test Strategy.
  • Oversee Test Planning, Test Execution, and Defect Management.
  • Ensure production and maintenance of key test documents to agreed quality standards.
  • Manage test activities both onsite and remotely.
  • Collaborate with key business users and stakeholders.
  • Drive the test function and work with IT vendors.
  • Coach and mentor peers on testing processes and execution.
  • Support the IT Project Manager and vendor team.

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience in test management with at least 10 years in the industry.
  • Experience in large and complex enterprise projects.
  • Proficient in Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Data, Test Scripting, Test Reporting, and Defect Management.
  • Able to manage various types of testing including UAT, System Integration Testing, and End-to-End Testing.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Experience in automotive, automation, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, or SAP systems.
  • British Citizenship for security access.

Salary (Rate): £525.00
