Test Lead

Summary: A Test Lead contractor is sought to enhance the efficiency of an underwriting platform for a London Market Insurer. The role involves leading the test strategy for automation implementation and managing a team of functional testers. The ideal candidate should have experience in a mature testing environment, particularly within the London Market, and proficiency in Azure and Microsoft.net. This position is a 6-month contract with a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead & manage a team of functional testers to ensure the successful implementation of the testing strategy.
• Oversee the execution of test plans, scenarios, scripts, & procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Monitor & report on test progress, defects, & overall quality metrics.
• Provide mentorship & guidance to the testing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience as a Test Lead.
• London Market/Lloyd's Market experience is required.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, & processes.
• Experience with Azure & Microsoft.net testing environments.
• Excellent leadership & team management skills.
• Strong analytical & problem-solving abilities.

Salary (Rate): £550
