Summary: Seeking a Test Lead for a 6-month fixed-term contract in London, UK, to oversee end-to-end testing for a commercial insurance program. Key Responsibilities:
- Own E2E test strategy, planning, execution, and release readiness across multiple component teams.
- Define and drive integration testing approach between services/systems and ensure coverage for cross-team flows.
- Design, develop and execute functional, regression and integration test suites; ensure defects are tracked, triaged, and closed.
- Validate APIs and message formats using JSON and SOAP; create and execute tests with SoapUI (or equivalent).
- Coordinate with product owners, architects, developers, and operations to identify and resolve system-level issues and manage dependencies.
- Establish test metrics, dashboards and quality gates for release decisions and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and guide manual and automation testers; review test artifacts and ensure best practices.
- Participate in release planning, risk assessments and post-release validation.
