Summary: The role of Test Lead focuses on overseeing QA activities for Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) applications within the Electric Utility/Energy sector. The candidate will define test strategies, manage test execution, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the QA team throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
  • Review business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Create test strategies, test plans, and test schedules.
  • Coordinate functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing.
  • Validate ADMS workflows and utility business processes.
  • Manage defects, prioritize issues, and work closely with development teams.
  • Coordinate with business users, SMEs, and project managers.
  • Track testing progress and provide status reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure all quality deliverables are completed within project timelines.

Key Skills:

  • 8+ years of Software Testing/QA experience.
  • 3+ years of Test Lead experience.
  • Hands-on experience with ADMS implementations in the Utility domain.
  • Experience working with Electric Distribution Utilities.
  • Experience with GE ADMS, Schneider Electric ADMS, OSI ADMS, Siemens Spectrum Power, or Hitachi Energy Network Manager ADMS is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Utility industry experience is highly preferred.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Test Lead with strong expertise in Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) within the Electric Utility/Energy domain. The ideal candidate should have experience leading QA activities for ADMS applications, including SCADA, OMS, DMS, GIS, and DERMS integrations. The candidate will be responsible for defining test strategy, managing test execution, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Required Experience

  • 8+ years of Software Testing/QA experience.
  • 3+ years of Test Lead experience.
  • Hands-on experience with ADMS implementations in the Utility domain.
