Summary: Expleo is looking for a proactive Test Kitting Engineer to support a high-profile customer in Coventry on a 12-month contract. The role involves managing the Bill of Materials for Units Under Test and coordinating procurement and logistics for testing components. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all necessary components and documentation are prepared for testing. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative powertrain testing solutions across various environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the Bill of Materials (BoM) for Units Under Test (UUT), ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to support test schedules.
  • Coordinate procurement and logistics of components, including ordering, tracking, and expediting parts through internal systems and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate test requirements into actionable kitting plans, ensuring all components, tools, and documentation are ready.
  • Maintain and improve kitting processes, identifying and implementing efficiency improvements aligned with defined procedures.
  • Provide regular updates to the Central Planning Team, including weekly reports on kit readiness, delivery status, and risk mitigation.
  • Support additional tasks as directed by your line manager in connection with the role.

Key Skills:

  • Experience managing end-to-end test kitting processes in engineering or automotive testing environments.
  • Strong understanding of powertrain systems (Batteries, EDU, ICE).
