Summary: The Test Facilities Engineer role involves supporting Engineering Operations activities within the Cross Functional Test Facilities for a premium automotive brand in Coventry. The position focuses on ensuring the safe and efficient operation of test facilities used for product development, adhering to the company's safety policies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Engineering Operations activities across various Midlands sites.
  • Ensure safe, smooth, efficient, and effective operation of Engineering Operations Test Facilities.
  • Demonstrate safe working practices in line with the company's 'Destination Zero' policies.
  • Engage in problem-solving related to control systems and facilities.
  • Interface effectively with customers and follow written and spoken instructions.

Key Skills:

  • A Level 4 qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Proven experience in automotive facilities engineering within a test environment.
  • Understanding of facilities, processes, equipment, and leading technologies.
  • Proficient in problem-solving control systems.
  • Clear communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 standards.
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK driving license.
