Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java
- Build and execute functional, integration, and regression tests
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to embed quality-first practices
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing strategies
- Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution
- Support test planning, reporting, and quality metrics
- Ensure testing aligns with public sector standards, governance, and compliance requirements
Key Skills:
- Strong experience as a Test Engineer/QA Engineer
- Solid programming skills in Java
- Demonstrable experience working on public sector/government projects (essential)
- Experience with test automation tools (eg, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit)
- Knowledge of API testing (eg, REST, Postman, RestAssured)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (eg, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Experience working in Agile environments
