Test Engineer

Summary: The Test Engineer role is a 12-month contract position with a global manufacturer in the healthcare industry. The engineer will be responsible for testing materials and products, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and effectively communicating results. The position requires both independent work and collaboration with various teams to support new product initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work safely in line with behavioural safety principles
• Compliance with PPE requirements
• Supporting NTIs by undertaking testing of materials and concepts by developing or following appropriate test methods in collaboration with Project Engineers. Analyse, interpret and communicate results in the form of summary test reports
• Supporting NPIs by undertaking bench testing of prototype products by developing or following appropriate test methods in collaboration with global NPI teams. Analyse, interpret and communicate results in the form of bench test reports.
• Writing protocols, work instructions and procedures.
• To communicate effectively with other departments eg test results.
• Learn departments processes, procedures and equipment and apply this learning consistently

• Engineering or R&D lab background preferred.
