Summary: The role of Systems Engineer focuses on managing and validating requirements related to towing and carrying for a luxury automotive OEM based in Gaydon. The position is a 9-month contract requiring expertise in automotive technologies and engineering test activities. The engineer will ensure the integration and verification of towing attributes across engineering teams. Candidates must have valid eligibility to work in the UK and travel within the EU.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership, management, validation and development of a number of requirements and targets
- Ensure requirements & targets are cascaded & accepted within all relevant engineering teams
- Champion development, integration and design verification (DV) plans
- Ensure clear status for towing attribute across all programme panel charts
- Ensure zero towing issues
Key Skills:
- Experience in towing trailers and using trailer towing hardware
- Knowledge/experience of automotive technologies or systems
- Knowledge/experience of engineering test activities
- Experience in features development, delivery and validation
- Knowledge/experience of AGILE working principles
