Summary: We are seeking a skilled Test Analyst with expertise in SQL, Power BI, and Cerner Millennium to join a healthcare technology team for a short-term project. The role involves designing and executing test strategies, validating data, and ensuring the accuracy of digital solutions in a clinical environment. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to vital healthcare programmes. The contract duration is approximately 3-4 weeks, and the role is hybrid based in Romford.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test strategies, plans, and cases aligned to clinical and reporting requirements
- Validate data extracts, transformations, and reports using complex SQL queries
- Verify Power BI dashboards and data models for accuracy, completeness, and visual consistency
- Test integrations and workflows within the Cerner Millennium environment
- Work closely with developers, analysts, and clinical stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure quality
- Log, manage, and retest defects, maintaining clear and thorough documentation
Key Skills:
- Solid experience as a software or data tester within a clinical or healthcare setting
- Strong working knowledge of SQL - able to write complex queries for data validation
- Hands-on experience testing or validating reports/dashboards in Power BI
- Prior experience working with or testing in Cerner Millennium (eg PowerChart, CCL, Discern Explorer)
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Able to work independently and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
