Summary: My market leading client is seeking a Test Engineer to support critical project work focused on developing a new AI product. The role requires experience with Greenfield projects and a strong background in public sector environments, particularly with GDS. The ideal candidate will have proven abilities in defining and executing test strategies in agile settings, alongside knowledge of accessibility testing standards. Immediate availability is preferred for this 3-month contract position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute a test strategy in fast-paced, agile, pre-production environments.
- Lead integration testing and implement security scans (e.g., OWASP).
- Deliver automated end-to-end coverage, preferably using Playwright.
- Validate non-deterministic outputs and define evaluation criteria.
- Work with ambiguous or evolving requirements.
- Conduct accessibility testing in accordance with WCAG 2.2 standards.
Key Skills:
- Experience with Greenfield projects and AI development.
- Strong knowledge of GDS and public sector environments.
- Proven ability to work in agile settings with tight delivery timelines.
- Experience with integration testing and security scans.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools, especially Playwright.
- Knowledge of accessibility testing tools and standards.

Experience leading integration testing, implementing security scans (e.g. OWASP or similar), and delivering automated E2E coverage (using Playwright preferably). Comfortable validating non-deterministic outputs, defining evaluation criteria, and working with ambiguous or evolving requirements. Accessibility testing knowledge (e.g. WCAG 2.2 standards, tools like axe, wave).
