Summary: The Test Engineer role involves writing and modifying test scripts for acceptance testing of IT systems, specifically focusing on Core/Hub Networks. The position requires SC clearance and entails working closely with project Test Managers within the IT&T team. The role includes both formal and informal testing in support of the System Test Plan and Test Script proving. Candidates must have experience with Microsoft Windows Server technologies and exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and modify test scripts for acceptance testing of IT systems.
• Develop new and modify existing test scripts for Core/Hub Networks.
• Undertake formal and informal testing in support of the System Test Plan.
• Prepare test documentation including test plans, scripts, and defect reports.
• Perform functional, non-functional, and regression testing.
• Document test procedures and write release notes.

Key Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft Server 2012R2/16 technologies (AD, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Exceptional communication skills with diverse audiences.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and respond to changing project timelines.
• SC Clearance required.
• Knowledge of military IS systems.
• MCSE/MCSA Server 2012R2, VMWARE VCP.
• Experience with virtualization capabilities (VDI, multi-tenancy).
• Understanding of PKI integration and experience with Defence PKI.
• Familiarity with Confluence and Jira, and Agile methodologies.
