Test Engineer

Summary: The Test Engineer role involves managing and supporting test properties, including test rigs and vehicles within the domains of Telematics, Connectivity, Infotainment, and Diagnostics. The position requires planning and managing project activities, solving complex system integration problems, and developing specialist knowledge in test automation and requirements analysis. The role is contract-based and classified as outside IR35, requiring eligibility to work in the UK and travel within the EU.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and manage test property, including construction and maintenance of test rigs and vehicles.
• Capture and specify system integration and test requirements.
• Plan and manage project-related activities on a weekly basis.
• Report project status and collaborate with suppliers on project deliverables.
• Solve complex system test and integration problems using company tools.
• Analyze and manage integration and testing issues to identify root causes.
• Develop and maintain specialist knowledge in test approaches and automation.
• Document test environments configuration and specifications.

Key Skills:

• Experience in managing test rigs and vehicles in automotive domains.
• Strong problem-solving skills related to system testing and integration.
• Knowledge of test automation tools such as Python, Robot Framework, and Anna Framework.
