Your expertise will directly impact the accuracy and trustworthiness of our financial reporting, making this a crucial role within our organization.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience testing data-intensive or backend systems such as data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, or financial data feeds
- History with Java, Sox controls, complex data, understanding SAP.
- Strong SQL skills, with experience in relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server, including writing and optimizing queries
- Familiarity with modern engineering tools and environments, e.g., Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
- Ability to design and implement data validation for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness, including schema, contract checks, and data reconciliation
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, automation strategies, and observability practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working within or around regulated environments such as SOX, GDPR/PII, DMA
Nice to Have Skills:
- Familiarity with data quality tools, contract testing, experimentation platforms, and feature flagging
- Experience with monitoring, alerts, dashboards, canaries, and production data validation
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or similar environments
- Prior involvement with financial or reporting systems integrating with SAP
Preferred Education and Experience:
