Summary: The Test Engineer for Chassis Dyno will play a crucial role in the operation of the Environmental Chassis Emissions Dyno, collaborating with the Lead Engineer and various stakeholders to ensure effective testing and reporting. This position involves direct technical engagement with clients and third-party engineering teams, focusing on the preparation and execution of emissions tests. The role requires a strong understanding of test methodologies and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers. The contract is for 12 months with potential for yearly renewal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the Environmental Chassis Emissions Dyno and prepare vehicles for testing.
- Engage with clients and third-party teams to understand and develop test requirements.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety and ISO standards.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to new team members.
- Report and explain test data results to customers as needed.
Key Skills:
- Experience with AVL SCADA, PUMA, CAMEO, and ETAS INCA.
- Knowledge of ICE emissions measurement and quality evaluation.
- Experience in rig/laboratory-based testing of ICE systems.
- Strong planning and program management skills.
- Ability to communicate and influence at an operational level.
