Summary: The Test Engineer - Chassis Dyno role involves operating the Environmental Chassis Emissions Dyno and supporting the Lead Engineer in technical engagements with clients and third-party teams. The position requires preparation and execution of vehicle tests, data reporting, and adherence to safety and ISO standards. The role is contract-based with potential for yearly renewal and is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the Environmental Chassis Emissions Dyno and prepare vehicles for testing.
  • Engage with clients and third-party engineering teams to understand test requirements.
  • Report and explain test data results to customers.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety and ISO standards.
  • Transfer knowledge and provide training to new team members.
  • Maintain the physical operation and upkeep of the facility.

Key Skills:

  • Experience with AVL SCADA, PUMA, CAMEO & ETAS INCA.
  • Knowledge of ICE emissions measurement and evaluation processes.
  • Understanding of rig/laboratory-based testing in ICE systems.
  • Strong planning and program management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at an operational level.
  • Experience in an ICE engineering environment.

Salary (Rate): £27.21
