Summary: The Test Engineer (Accessibility) role involves working with a Central Government client to conduct extensive accessibility testing and full life cycle testing in Agile Digital environments. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain automated tests in continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Use, develop and standardise reusable frameworks and tools following engineering practices and standards.
  • Analyse and test artefacts such as products, services and business processes.
  • Promote quality considerations throughout the development life cycle.
  • Support the resolution of technical issues.

Key Skills:

  • Experience of testing applications for accessibility compliance using JAWS, Dragon, ZoomText.
  • Knowledge of assessing applications against WCAG 2.2 AA standards and Microsoft Accessibility Standards for both UI and Mobile applications.
  • Experience working in a government/public sector, digital and Agile environment.
  • Eligibility for SC clearance.

Job Description Test Engineer. (Accessibility) Central Government. Inside IR35. Hybrid - Manchester 325 per day - Duration - 6 months Our Central Government Client is looking to bring in experienced Test Engineers with extensive Accessibility Testing and full life cycle testing experience in Agile Digital (DDaT) environments.
