Summary: The Test Director role in London involves overseeing testing processes for Unit4 Financials (Coda) modules and related systems. The position requires hands-on experience with various testing methodologies and tools, as well as a strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of digital financial products and managing stakeholder communications. This is a hybrid contract position lasting 5 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on experience with Unit4 Financials (Coda) modules; knowledge of Cognos, TM1; SQL for data validation; familiarity with ETL tools.
- Strong background in functional, regression, integration, and nonfunctional testing; experience with test management tools.
- Understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and month-end/year-end processes.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments; ISTQB certification (preferred).
- Essential knowledge and significant experience with Unit4 ERP systems, including the Coda platform.
- Strong understanding of digital financial products, complex business processes, controls, and reporting within an ERP context.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to details, with the ability to identify and isolate defects quickly and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA and Zephyr, Test Plans and Test Rail.
- Ability to write and execute test plans and test cases.
