Summary: The role of Test Consultant focuses on data, API, Power BI, Fabric, and Data Lakes within an Agile environment. The consultant will lead testing strategies for large-scale data programs, ensuring thorough functional, automation, and performance testing. Candidates must possess extensive experience in data testing and related technologies. The position is hybrid and requires an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and create test strategies for large-scale data programs.
  • Conduct functional testing, automation, and performance/NFT.
  • Perform data testing, data migration testing, and data validation.
  • Test Microsoft Fabric and Data Lakes.
  • Test Power BI, including Power Query.
  • Conduct REST and API testing.
  • Implement CI/CD processes.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies in testing.
  • Work on highly-regulated projects and programs.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Test Lead/Senior Test Analyst.
  • Experience in functional testing, automation, and performance/NFT.
  • Experience in creating and leading test strategies.
  • Experience in data testing, data migration testing, and data validation.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Data Lakes.
  • Experience in Power BI testing, including Power Query.
  • Experience in REST and API testing.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes.

  • Proven experience as a Test Lead/Senior Test Analyst
  • Proven experience across functional testing, automation and performance/NFT
  • Proven experience creating and leading test strategies on large-scale data programmes
  • Proven experience in data testing, data migration testing and data validation
  • Proven experience of Microsoft Fabric and Datalakes
  • Proven experience of Power BI testing including Power Query
  • Proven experience of REST including API testing
  • Proven experience of CI/CD processes
  • Proven experience of Agile methodologies
  • Proven experience on highly-regulated projects and programmes

Role is outside IR35 - hybrid - ASAP start
