Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee manufacturing processes for test bed controls systems.
  • Apply lean methodologies including Six Sigma and Kaizen improvement tools.
  • Utilize knowledge of systems and controls in engineering tasks.
  • Work with Beckoff and Allen Bradley PLCs.
  • Engage in software programming and coding using Visual Basic, C++, and Python.
  • Understand operations environment and hot test environments.
  • Balance time effectively and manage tooling and fixturing skills.
  • Maintain IOSH Managing Safety certification.

Key Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • Desirable experience in test bed controls systems.
  • Knowledge of lean methodologies, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.

Test bed controls systems Manufacturing Engineer Stafford 12 months £32.18 / hr umbrella Fully onsite role 07:15 – 16:30 Monday to Thursday Occasional need for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays depending on workload, would be overtime (maybe once a month, closer to June time when deadlines are in place) Looking for around 3-5 years’ experience. Desirable experience in Test bed controls systems Experienced in the application of lean methodologies including Six Sigma and Kaizen improvement tools. Knowledge of systems and controls Experience with Beckoff and Allen Bradley PLCs Experience with software programming / coding – Visual Basic, C++, Python Good understanding of an operations environment.
