Summary: The Automation Test Engineer role at Adroit People involves designing and implementing automated tests for cloud-based applications, with a focus on AWS services such as Lambda, EventBridge, and SQS. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in automation testing, particularly using Java and Springboot. This position requires collaboration with development and operations teams to ensure application quality and reliability. The role is based in London and is offered as a contract position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated tests using the Java Springboot framework.
- Create and maintain test scripts for AWS Lambda functions.
- Implement and manage test scenarios for event-driven architectures using AWS EventBridge.
- Develop and manage test cases for message queues using AWS SQS.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with Java and Java Springboot.
- Knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, Kinesis Stream, SQS, EventBridge).
- Experience with BDD framework Cucumber (good to have).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with JEST and TypeScript (good to have).
