Test Architect

Summary: The role of Test Architect involves training teams in automated testing using various technologies, including .NET (C#), Java, and Selenium, while also providing expertise in TDD/BDD practices. Key Responsibilities:

• Train the team on writing automated test cases using .NET (C#), Java, and Selenium.
• Implement ReadyAPI, Junit, Cucumber, and Specflow.
• Provide SME-level experience with TDD/BDD.
• Oversee service virtualization, environment management, and CI/CD practices.
• Craft test strategies and supervise integration testing activities.
• Ensure timely production of test results with required quality.
• Monitor and adapt testing activities to meet project planning and budget.
• Assess software delivery quality and mentor testing resources.
• Manage technical queries from the team and resolve them promptly.
• Coordinate and coach on NFR testing.
• Identify risks/issues and present mitigating actions.
• Provide status reports on critical metrics and issues.
• Create Testing and Launch Strategy and Test Summary Report.
• Collect metrics to measure training effectiveness and team maturity.
• Manage release activities up to production launch and post-launch support.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing standard processes.
• Analyze information from documentation, system data, clients, and colleagues.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., .NET, Java, Selenium).
• Experience with ReadyAPI, Junit, Cucumber, and Specflow.
• Strong knowledge of TDD/BDD methodologies.
• Expertise in service virtualization and CI/CD practices.
