Summary: The role of Test Analyst focuses on Identity and Access Management (IdAM) solutions, requiring hands-on experience with tools such as Microsoft Entra, CyberArk, and SailPoint. The position involves designing and executing test scripts, tracking defects, and supporting business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The contract is for 5 months and is based in Preston with a hybrid working arrangement. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and results-driven, with a strong understanding of access control and testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test scripts across ST, SIT, and UAT phases.
  • Track progress and defects using Jira (or similar).
  • Ensure traceability between tests and requirements.
  • Support business users during UAT and contribute to test documentation.
  • Test key IdAM workflows including:
    • User Authentication (login/logout, MFA, password policies)
    • User Authorisation (role-based access control)
    • Privilege Access Management
    • Role Management
    • Policy Enforcement

Key Skills:

  • Experience testing IdAM solutions such as Microsoft Entra, CyberArk, or SailPoint.
  • Strong understanding of access control, authentication, and identity life cycle management.
  • Proficiency in Jira or similar tools for test management and defect tracking.
  • Familiarity with structured testing methodologies and documentation standards.

Test Analyst (IdAM) - 5 Months Contract - £400/day via Umbrella - Preston (Hybrid) - SCC FLEX CONTRACT

We're looking for a detail-oriented Test Analyst with hands-on experience in Identity and Access Management (IdAM) solutions, including tools like Microsoft Entra, CyberArk, and SailPoint.

Your key responsibilities as Test Analyst:

  • Design and execute test scripts across ST, SIT, and UAT phases.
  • Track progress and defects using Jira (or similar).
  • Ensure traceability between tests and requirements.
  • Support business users during UAT and contribute to test documentation.
  • Test key IdAM workflows including:
