Summary: The Test Analyst role involves developing, maintaining, and executing test scripts for Sage X3 ERP system implementations and enhancements. The candidate will ensure software reliability and compliance with business requirements through various testing methodologies. The role is a 2-week contract based in London, offering a daily rate of £300 outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain test scripts for various Sage X3 modules, including finance, distribution, manufacturing, and inventory management.
  • Conduct functional, regression, and user acceptance testing to validate system integrity and performance.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive testing strategies.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Ensure test cases align with business processes and regulatory requirements for successful ERP implementation.
  • Prepare test data, execute test plans, and report findings to stakeholders.
  • Support training and user documentation, contributing to overall system usability and efficiency.

Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Sage X3 ERP and its modules, with hands-on experience in system testing.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools (optional, depending on company needs).
  • Experience writing detailed, structured test scripts and executing test plans.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with issue tracking software like JIRA, HP ALM, or similar tools.

We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst to develop, maintain, and execute test scripts for Sage X3 ERP system implementations and enhancements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ERP functionalities, business processes, and testing methodologies, ensuring software reliability and compliance with business requirements.
