Summary: The Test Analyst role involves working on a high-profile project to deliver a new reservation and booking system for a leading travel organization. The position requires collaboration with developers and stakeholders to ensure software quality through various testing phases. The role is hybrid, allowing for some remote work, and is classified as outside IR35. The contract duration is rolling for 3 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse business and technical requirements for booking/reservation systems.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, scripts, and test data.
- Perform SIT, UAT, and End-to-End testing; log and retest defects.
- Maintain traceability between requirements, test coverage, and system functionality.
- Report test progress, risks, and metrics to the Test Lead/Project Manager.
- Collaborate with developers and business teams to understand system changes.
Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience testing reservation/booking systems.
- Proven experience across SIT and UAT phases.
- Strong knowledge of Jira, Azure DevOps, X-Ray, TestRail, Zephyr, or ALM.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and excellent communication skills.
- Desirable: Automated testing experience.
- API and backend system testing.
- Web, mobile, and cloud platform testing.
- ISTQB Foundation or equivalent certification.
