Summary: The Test Analyst role involves leading and managing technical testing elements for a large system implementation project, with a focus on User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing test strategies and plans while providing guidance to the team. This position requires a hands-on approach to testing and regular liaison with stakeholders to ensure successful implementations. The role is based in Birmingham with a hybrid working arrangement, requiring one day in the office each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all technical testing at project level, particularly UAT.
- Deliver non-functional services (Automation, Performance, Usability).
- Implement non-functional test tools.
- Develop non-functional test frameworks.
- Analyse delivered systems to code executable specifications.
- Identify and suggest best practices for System, System Integration, and User Acceptance Testing.
- Analyse documentation to identify appropriate test conditions.
- Prepare detailed test plans to highlight existing and new functionality.
- Liaise with stakeholders regularly to ensure accurate and successful implementations.
Key Skills:
- ISTQB certified.
- Proven experience managing and developing test strategy and test plans.
- Experience testing across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience conducting UAT across large and diverse user groups.
- Supplier Management experience.
