Summary: The Test Analyst role involves leading and managing technical testing elements for a large system implementation project, with a focus on User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The position requires hands-on technical expertise and the ability to guide a wider team while ensuring stakeholder requirements are met. The role is based in Birmingham with a hybrid working arrangement, requiring one day in the office each week. The contract is fixed-term until December 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all technical testing at project level, particularly UAT.
- Deliver non-functional services (Automation, Performance, Usability)
- Implement non-functional test tools.
- Develop non-functional test frameworks.
- Analyse delivered systems to code executable specifications.
- Identify and suggest best practices to execute System, System Integration and User Acceptance Testing in accordance with stakeholder requirements and available resources.
- Analyst documentation to identify appropriate test conditions.
- Prepare detailed test plans to highlight existing and new functionality, plan approach to ensure accurate completion.
- Liaise with stakeholders regularly to ensure accurate and successful implementations.
Key Skills:
- ISTQB certified.
- Proven experience managing and developing test strategy and test plans.
- Experience testing across the Software Development Lifecycle (SCLC).
- Experience conducting UAT across large and diverse user groups.
- Supplier Management experience.
Salary (Rate): £45,000
