Summary: The role of Test Analyst involves supporting the Test Manager in the creation and execution of test scripts during sprint testing for a Not For Profit organization. The position requires managing end-to-end testing phases, including UAT, and ensuring the quality of test documentation. The successful candidate will also be responsible for various types of testing and providing oversight on project reports. This is a contract position with a potential for extension, offering a competitive daily rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support test script creation and execution during sprint testing.
- Manage End-to-end/Pre-UAT Test phase, including planning, coordination, execution, and defect management.
- Manage UAT, including planning, coordination, and defect management.
- Provide assurance around test documentation produced by the organization and third parties.
Key Skills:
- Experience with Security, Performance, Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT), Accessibility, and Compatibility testing.
- Ability to identify and understand requirements and conduct risk assessments.
- Experience in creating testing plans and schedules.
- Proficiency in ADO and JIRA for project reporting.
- Desirable experience in test automation and implementing test tools.

Description
Your Role:
- You will be working closely with the Test Manager to support test script creation and test execution during sprint testing to meet necessary deadlines.
- To manage End-to-end/Pre-UAT Test phase - creation of plan, coordination of testing, test execution and defect management.
- To manage UAT - creation of plan, coordination of testing and defect management.
- To provide assurance around test documentation produced by both the organisation and 3rd parties, - ie Data Test plan, sprint planning, test reports and evidence.
Profile
What you need to be successful:
The following test types are required:
- Security, Performance
- Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT)
- Accessibility, Compatibility.
- Identification and understanding of the requirements
- Risk assessment around these areas by the relevant teams
- Identification of any testing required
- A plan and schedule created for any required testing
- Provide manual oversight over the individual spreadsheets.
- ADO and JIRA client portal to ensure completeness and accuracy of project reports.
Desirable:
- Test automation of smoke tests and regression packs.
- A test tool to be implemented eg JIRA or ADO.
- Capture all changes internally and feed into the change management process
- Enable dashboard reporting available to all
- Provide a central repository of Development & Test tasks, status and evidence available to all, including 3rd party teams
- Provide a central repository of requirements, defects and feedback
- Provide linkage between user stories, technical and functional dependencies
- Capture and provide an audit trail of all changes
Job Offer
£300 - £350 Per Day (OUTSIDE IR35) depending on experience.
3-6 months Contract with the possibility of extension.
