Summary: The University of Bristol is seeking two Test Analysts to support a large-scale Network Replacement Project. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and report on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and end-user device testing.
  • Contribute to data analysis for Building Discovery for cutover locations.
  • Develop test plans and create tailored test scripts for complex university environments.
  • Perform hands-on testing and coordinate Business Verification.
  • Investigate and triage defects as needed.
  • Assist in end-user acceptance testing against varied use cases and devices.
  • Support onsite testing across multiple locations on the University Campus.

Detailed Description From Employer:

The role We are seeking two detail-oriented Test Analysts to support a large-scale Network Replacement Project (Modern Network) at the University of Bristol. These roles will be instrumental in planning, executing, and reporting on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and end-user device testing, ensuring minimal disruption to staff, faculty, and students. The successful candidates will also contribute to data analysis for Building Discovery for the locations to be cutover, test plan development, and the creation of test scripts tailored to complex university environments. Working with Network engineers, Third Parties and Technical Service Managers, the post holder will carry out hands-on testing, and co-ordinate Business Verification along with defect investigation and triage, where needed.

What will you be doing? The role holders will assist in performing end-user acceptance testing against a varied set of use cases and devices, which are crucial to the success of our administrative, teaching and research activities at the University. Due to the nature of this type of testing, it is expected that the role holder will be available to support onsite testing in a number of locations across the University Campus.
