Summary: The Senior Test Analyst role involves supporting the transition from on-premises data centers to the AWS platform through extensive hands-on experience in infrastructure and cloud testing. The position is a 6-month initial contract requiring one day a month on-site in Bristol. The contractor will be engaged through an umbrella company, with all relevant taxes deducted from the rate. The role emphasizes the importance of ensuring quality and integrity during the migration process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for infrastructure and cloud migration activities.
- Support UAT coordination and provide evidence for audit and compliance purposes.
- Support End-to-End testing and business critical user journey validation.
- Conduct functional and non-functional testing, including performance, failover, and DR testing.
- Validate application and service configurations post-migration.
- Perform data validation, integrity checks, and smoke testing post-move.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Cloud teams to identify and resolve issues.
Key Skills:
- Hands on experience with infrastructure and Cloud testing.
- Infrastructure validation - server migrations, storage, networking, and security configurations.

This role will need to operate through an Umbrella company and all employer, employee tax and NI will be deducted from the rate.
Sanderson recruitment is currently working with a client who require a Test Analyst to support the quality and integrity of the transition from on prem data centre to the AWS platform. This role will require a contractor who has extensive hands on experience of Infrastructure and cloud testing.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for infrastructure and cloud migration activities.
- Support UAT coordination and provide evidence for audit and compliance purposes.
