Test Analysts are engaged on formal waterfall and hybrid delivery programmes, regulated system implementations, and government technology programmes where structured test documentation and traceability is a governance requirement.
Test Analyst contractors are expected to have strong analytical skills alongside solid testing methodology knowledge. Experience deriving test cases from requirements using techniques such as equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, and decision table testing is expected. Proficiency with test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or HP ALM, and defect tracking in Jira or similar, is widely assumed.
