Test Analyst - Azure DevOps - Birmingham

Summary: We are looking for two proactive Test Analysts to join our team in Birmingham, focusing on manual testing within the software development life cycle. The role involves collaborating with project teams to ensure high-quality solutions that meet business needs. Key responsibilities include designing test cases, executing tests, and managing defects using Azure DevOps. This position is classified as inside IR35 with a daily rate of £375 - £400.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing across multiple products (system, integration, regression).
• Analyse technical documentation and understand quality expectations for software development projects.
• Translate functional requirements into clear, detailed test cases.
• Create and maintain Test Plans, Test Strategies, and Status Reports.
• Lead and run daily triage sessions during test execution.
• Execute test cases, analyse results, and document outcomes.
• Log, track, and manage defects using Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Identify, communicate, and escalate risks or issues where necessary.

Key Skills:

• Experience in manual testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps for defect management.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret technical documentation.
• Ability to create detailed test cases from functional requirements.

We are seeking 2 proactive hands on Test Analyst's to join our customer based in Birmingham. In this role, you will play a critical part in the software development life cycle, ensuring that all solutions meet business needs and are delivered to a high standard. You'll work closely with project teams and developers to understand requirements, design effective test cases, and take full ownership of quality between development and User Acceptance Testing.
