Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with all aspects of temporary works design and checking for tender and construction phases of projects.
  • Prepare safe, buildable, and efficient temporary works designs in accordance with relevant design codes.
  • Produce temporary works calculations, associated drawings, and design risk assessments to challenging deadlines.
  • Ensure design management in accordance with relevant quality procedures and compliance with CDM requirements.
  • Provide prompt advice and react to changing design briefs and site conditions during construction activities.
  • Support estimating teams in developing costs, programmes, and construction sequencing.
  • Work alongside other professionals in multi-disciplinary teams and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
  • Attend site visits to inspect temporary works and assist with buildability issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by attending team meetings and development topics.
