Summary: The role of Temporary Payroll Administrator involves overseeing payroll processing and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations in a fast-paced environment. The position is for a three-month contract with the possibility of extension or transition to a permanent role, requiring a hybrid working model based in East London. The ideal candidate will have strong payroll experience, particularly in pensions and reconciliations, and must be able to start on short notice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing payroll processing for salaried and additional employees using the fully integrated IRIS system.
  • Reviewing automated payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensuring correct processing of maternity pay, sick pay, tax codes, and statutory payments (SSP).
  • Managing attachments of earnings and pension contributions.
  • Liaising with local managers to resolve payroll queries and ensure compliance.

Key Skills:

  • Strong payroll experience, including pensions and reconciliations.
  • Advanced Excel skills for payroll data management and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and patience for handling queries on payslips and policies.
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
