Summary: The Operations Administrator role is a 6-month contract position based in Stockport, aimed at supporting the Service Engineering team of a thriving Engineering business. The ideal candidate should be immediately available and possess strong administrative skills to assist with various tasks, including processing timesheets and booking travel arrangements. This position offers a competitive salary and the potential for contract extension. The working environment is described as positive and flexible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day to day support for the team of Field Service Engineers
  • Support the Service Engineers with any administrative tasks as required
  • Process Engineers' timesheets & expenses
  • Maintain records on holidays, leave & absence
  • Book global travel arrangements for the Engineers
  • Maintain training and certification records
  • Organise / book training courses as required

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience in a busy administrative role
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to forge good relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Good basic knowledge of MS Excel
  • Previous SAP experience and/or experience booking global travel would be a real advantage, but not essential
