Summary: The Management Accountant role involves producing month-end reports and performing various management accounting duties for a large multinational business in the industrial and manufacturing sector. Due to increased workload and staff absence, the company seeks two Management Accountants for an initial six-month temporary position. Responsibilities include financial data analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial policies. The role offers a competitive daily rate and hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completing Month End for 2 entities
- Prepare, analyse, and report on financial data to support decision-making processes
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Weekly reporting on performance re targets
- Monitor and manage cost control measures within the industrial/manufacturing operations
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal financial policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations
- Support the preparation of management accounts and financial statements
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function
Key Skills:
- A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or Qualified by Experience
- Experience in a similar role within the industrial or manufacturing sector
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- An ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

Description
Due to a period of Sickness and extra workload, my client requires 2 Management Accountants to join on initial 6 month temporary basis. The role will include;
- Completing of Month End for 2 entities

Job Offer
Competitive daily rate of approximately £250 to £350 per day via an umbrella company.
