Summary: The Temporary HR Officer role within the Legal Department involves supporting HR activities and projects in a dynamic environment. The position requires collaboration with both HR and Legal teams, focusing on administration, compliance, and performance management. This is a full-time, three-month temporary contract with a hybrid working arrangement. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR queries within the Legal Department.
- Manage the full spectrum of HR administration — onboarding, contracts, and leaver processes.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and track follow-up actions.
- Maintain departmental compliance records, including risk catalogues and training registers.
- Support performance review cycles, training coordination, and policy updates.
- Ensure alignment with employment legislation and internal HR frameworks.
- Liaise with central HR and payroll teams to streamline operations.
- Provide project and administrative support to the Legal leadership team.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as an HR Officer, or similar.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and employment law.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confident communicator who builds trust and positive relationships at all levels.
