Key Responsibilities:

Job Title: HR Generalist (Recruitment-Focused, Temp-Perm Assignment)

Location: New York, NY, 10001

Summer Schedule: Mon-thurs, 9hrs and Fri 4hrs (fully on-site)

Normal schedule: Begins after labor day – Mon-Fri 8 hrs per day (fully on-site)

Position Type: Full-Time, Temporary- Permanent

We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable HR Generalist to join our team on a temp -perm basis. While this role encompasses a broad range of HR responsibilities-including benefits administration, HRIS support, onboarding, and compliance-the immediate priority will be recruitment. Due to a recent increase in hiring needs, approximately 80% of the role will initially focus on full-cycle recruitment. Once key positions are filled, the role will shift to a more balanced focus, with recruitment comprising about 40% and generalist duties making up the remaining 60%.

The ideal candidate is someone who can go beyond basic coordination tasks and actively contribute to the recruitment process posting jobs, screening candidates, reviewing job descriptions, participating in interviews, and joining recruitment strategy meetings. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both the strategic and operational sides of HR.
