Summary: The role of Temporary HR Adviser involves supporting the Head of People in a key project within a well-established business in York. The position requires an experienced HR professional who can work independently with a focus on accuracy and detail. The role is temporary, lasting approximately 4-8 weeks, and is full-time on-site. Key responsibilities include collating HR files, reviewing employee data, and updating systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collate all HR and personnel files on every employee
  • Review and analyse the details on pay, benefits, policies, contracts, and absences etc.
  • Create a working report of the data for the Head of People to review as part of the harmonisation project
  • Updating any paper-based files onto the online system

Key Skills:

  • A high degree of confidentiality
  • Experience of using HR software and collating data onto Excel
  • Self-managed and experienced in similar projects
  • HR experience is essential
