About The Role Temporary Executive Assistant / Office Manager based in Old Street, City of London, supporting the CEO and Executive Leadership Team while overseeing daily office operations.
This on-site temporary assignment begins immediately and runs on an ongoing basis, paying £25.00 to £30.00 per hour plus holiday pay.
The role suits a seasoned professional who can seamlessly switch between board-level diary management, travel coordination, and meeting preparation, and facilities oversight, supplier liaison, and administrative procedure refinement.
Working alongside the Chief HR Officer, you will handle varied duties across the working week.
Strong organisational abilities, discretion, and polished communication are essential.
Prior experience in comparable dual-function positions within a commercial setting is required.
The Role
Working closely with the Chief HR Officer and Executive Team, you''ll play a pivotal role in keeping the business running efficiently, providing first-class executive support while managing office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide proactive diary management for the CEO and Executive Leadership Team
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, accommodation and expense management
- Organise internal and external meetings, including agendas, logistics, minute-taking and follow-up actions
- Coordinate Board meetings and liaise with senior stakeholders
- Manage the day-to-day running of the London office, including facilities, suppliers, health andamp; safety, office provisions and post
- Plan and deliver company events, meetings and employee engagement initiatives
- Lead logistics for large-scale company events and meetings
- Create engaging presentations and presentation decks
- Support internal communications, including company newsletters and business updates
- Provide HR administration support where required
- Manage employee recognition and engagement platforms
- Support projects across the business and assist with operational improvements
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Provide ad hoc support to the CEO and Executive Team
About You
You''ll be an experienced Executive Assistant and Office Manager who enjoys working at pace and building strong relationships across a business.
You''ll Also Have Previous Executive Assistant and Office Management experience supporting C-suite executives
Outstanding organisational and time management skills
Excellent diary management and coordination experience
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience organising meetings, events and company-wide initiatives
Confidence producing presentations and business documents
Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with exceptional attention to detail
The ability to manage changing priorities and last-minute requests with ease
Experience coordinating projects and working across multiple teams
Confidence using AI-powered productivity tools to improve efficiency and ways of working
