Temporary Accommodation Team Leader West Sussex £35 per hour (negotiable) 3-month contract, likely to extend Interviews next weekA Local Authority in West Sussex is looking for a Temporary Accommodation Team Leader to support their service during a restructure.

You'll manage a team of 4-5 Temporary Accommodation Officers and lead on procurement of suitable properties across the area. The council has low TA numbers thanks to strong prevention work, and they're looking for someone to provide consistent leadership and build on that success.

The role is hybrid, with two days a week required in the office to cover duty. A third office day may be useful during the initial weeks but will reduce over time.

You'll need experience managing teams in a local authority housing setting, ideally with knowledge of Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996. Familiarity with Home Connections is useful but not essential.
