What You'll Do

As a Marketing Manager within BCG’s Financial Institutions Practice Area (PA), you will shape and drive the end-to-end marketing agenda for the Payments & Fintech sector, one of the most dynamic and fast-evolving areas of financial services. Working in close partnership with PA and Sector leadership, the Marketing Manager, and global and local marketing teams, you will serve as a trusted strategic advisor—translating commercial priorities into a focused, high-impact marketing roadmap that strengthens BCG’s market positioning and accelerates client engagement. You will contribute to the annual marketing strategy and lead execution across thought leadership, flagship industry moments, executive visibility, partnerships, and internal communications. This role requires both strategic clarity and operational excellence, ensuring that marketing initiatives are tightly aligned with business priorities and deliver measurable impact. A core responsibility will be orchestrating BCG’s presence at key industry events, driving coordinated content, senior stakeholder engagement, and visibility before, during, and after each event. You will oversee full event lifecycle management, including audience strategy, invitee targeting, cross-team coordination, and post-event follow-through. You will actively manage publication pipelines, thought partner with authors to refine storylines and formats, and oversee content distribution to maximize reach and engagement. In parallel, you will play a critical role in elevating the market presence of senior leaders, including LinkedIn activation and executive visibility programs. The role operates across regions and requires close collaboration with stakeholders in North America and Europe and AP, ensuring alignment across time zones and seamless execution of global initiatives. In addition, you will lead and coach junior team members (including intern support), and provide data-driven reporting and performance analysis to leadership. Through disciplined tracking and continuous optimization, you will ensure that marketing investments translate into sustained brand impact and commercial value. With a strong strategic lens and operational rigor, you will help elevate BCG’s brand, deepen client engagement, and position the Payments and Fintech sector at the forefront of industry dialogue.

You’re good at

  • Managing a best-in-class suite of marketing & communication materials and activities that support client teams in building and strengthening client relationships
  • Making independent decisions within existing guidelines around marketing / comms activities preparation
  • Managing internal communication activities and platforms
  • Managing training delivery to PA stakeholders on new tools/ processes (e.g. LinkedIn publishing)
  • Managing social media efforts such as Linked In /Elevate for PA leadership
  • Summarizing PA marketing activities and impact for dissemination to leadership team and throughout the practice
  • Leading and coaching more junior team members
