Telecommunications and SCADA Engineer

Summary: The role of Telecommunications and SCADA Engineer involves the design, integration, and commissioning of SCADA and communication systems, ensuring they meet project requirements and technical standards. The position is based in Paris with occasional travel to Hamburg and has a duration of 12 months. The engineer will be responsible for developing technical specifications, evaluating designs, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity requirements. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop technical specifications and design philosophy for SCADA, Telecom, and Control Systems.
• Evaluate contractor and supplier designs for compliance.
• Support interface management and ensure cybersecurity requirements are implemented.
• Review and witness FAT/SAT and commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with O&M teams to ensure functional compliance.

Key Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of HV and WTG SCADA systems.
• Experience in offshore wind or similar sectors.
• Familiarity with communication systems (e.g. Tetra, VHF, 4G, IP Telephony).
• Fluent in English.
