Summary: The Telecom Security Architect role focuses on developing end-to-end security solutions for next-generation wireless networks, specifically within the context of a 6G project. The position involves defining security architecture for Radio Access Networks and collaborating with various teams to drive feasibility studies and technical discussions. Candidates are expected to have a strong background in telecommunications and security protocols. This is a freelance contract position based in France.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define next-generation BTS product structure (France 2030 program).
- Define security architecture for Radio Access Network (Cloud RAN, SRAN).
- Drive feasibility studies on security solutions for multi-RAT (4G/5G/6G) RAN and Base Stations in a virtualized environment (Cloud).
- Contribute to security requirements for multi-RAT RAN Elements.
- Lead technical discussions with Cloud RAN / SRAN customers.
- Identify future security domain evolutions.
Key Skills:
- MSc or BSc in telecommunication, engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in telecommunication networks product/system engineering, development, system test, or network engineering.
- Knowledge of mobile networks security threats, protocols (IPSec, MACSec, SSH, SFTP, HTTPS), PKI infrastructures, access control techniques, and IP protocols (IPv4/IPv6).
