Key Responsibilities:

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in IT Service Management.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL principles.
  • Expertise in architecture management, SDLC, deployment management, IT change management, IT incident response and recovery, IT service continuity management, IT asset and inventory management, network resilience, operational telemetry, and IT operations management.
  • Extensive experience in a similar role within a large financial services organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of the regulatory environment affecting technology resilience and third-party risk.
  • ITIL v4 certification is advantageous.

Detailed Description From Employer:

Working within our consultancy clients end client Vendor Management function that oversees several thousand third party supplier engagements the technology third party resilience and risk department is a critical function responsible for assuring effective risk and resilience management across the supply chain. This role plays a key part in advancing the clients technology resilience objectives ensuring the delivery of reliable services to customers. You will engage with senior stakeholders to drive resilient outcomes and ensure key technology suppliers comply with regulatory and internal standards. You will support the implementation of technology control requirements through the application of specialist knowledge and expertise to strengthen resilience across third party services. This role will sit in newly formed support team for a major bank and you will cover subject matter expertise and advisory, risk and compliance analysis and supplier and stakeholder engagement.

You will need proven experience in IT Service Management with strong knowledge of ITIL principles ad technology controls across : architecture management, SDLC, deployment management, IT change management, IT incident response and recovery, IT service continuity management, IT asset and inventory management, network resilience, operational telemetry (monitoring, alerting and retention) and IT operations management.

You will need extensive experience working in a similar role for a large FS organisation and have an indepth knowledge of the broader regulatory environment affecting technology resilience and third party risk. ITIL v4 certification would be advantageous and be able to get upto speed quickly on the end clients products and services.

This role will be inside IR35 with a requirement to be on site 3 days a week but in reality more like 1 due to space.
