Summary: The Technology Risk and Compliance Specialist will lead transformational initiatives to manage technology risk within a banking environment, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves monitoring technology controls, enhancing risk management strategies, and fostering relationships with senior stakeholders. The specialist will utilize Agile methodologies and automated solutions to deliver sustainable outcomes and report on the effectiveness of risk mitigation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support control operators to lead and deliver transformational initiatives across multiple controls to manage risk.
  • Ensure technology controls align with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and the company’s risk management strategy.
  • Enhance or remediate controls sustainably to provide enduring outcomes for the organization.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of technology controls, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Establish and monitor key control indicators (KCIs) to track risk mitigation effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key senior stakeholders to promote unified technology risk management.
  • Use risk-related data to influence prioritization of activities.
