Summary: The Technology Quality Assurance Lead role involves ensuring the highest standards of quality within the Technology team of a large public sector organization in Coalville. Key Responsibilities:
- Guide the Quality Team to manage and deliver activities in line with the approved Technology framework.
- Work with the Director of ICT and Digital Services to implement and ensure compliance with quality frameworks.
- Identify potential risks related to IT quality and advise on mitigation steps.
- Own and manage the IT Risk Register.
- Conduct regular audits of IT systems and processes for compliance with internal and external standards.
- Provide training and support to IT staff and colleagues on quality assurance practices and procedures.
- Manage the Change Advisory Board process and handle Major Incidents as per the ITIL framework.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant experience.
- Relevant certifications in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) and/or ITIL qualification.
- Proven experience as a Quality Lead or in a similar role within the Technology space, preferably in the housing or public sector.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Experience of Quality Assurance of data management reports.
- Proficiency in conducting audits and risk assessments.

Hays Technology are working in partnership with a large public sector organisation in Coalville to recruit a Quality Assurance Lead to join their Technology team on a permanent basis. The purpose of the role is to be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in the Technology team. This role involves developing and implementing quality control measures, conducting audits, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Conducting all service reviews internal and external, to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
