Summary: The Technology Lifecycle Management Consultant role in Glasgow involves enhancing the management of technology assets and ensuring timely exit of products approaching end of life. The consultant will coordinate activities across multiple teams and maintain accurate tracking of contracts and inventory attributes. The role is hybrid and part of a 12-month contract within Enterprise Technology Services at Morgan Stanley.
Key Responsibilities:
- Join the lifecycle management team, interfacing with execution teams, hygiene teams, and key stakeholders.
- Enhance the management of technology assets across the department and ensure timely exit of products approaching end of life (EOL).
- Coordinate activities across multiple teams to support integrated and consistent processes.
- Identify data quality issues and work with technical colleagues to address and resolve.
- Maintain accurate tracking of contracts and inventory attributes of the core technology infrastructure.
- Maintain and report on EOL plans, status, and progress.
- Track progress against the firm’s efforts to establish an up-to-date and accurate firm-wide inventory of assets using the firm's tools.

ETS enables business operations and delivers collaboration and productivity tools to our internal and external clients. ETS provides production management, quality assurance, and end user services for Institutional Securities and Support Services and delivers first-line defenses to manage the IT risks to the Firm, address the evolving cyber threat landscape, and meet regulatory expectations.
